 On a secluded beach
lost between the sea and a cliff, a man steps out of his car, hammer in hand. He walks
around it, slowly, as if possessed by a strange conviction. No one can hear, no one can
imagine what is going on this beach except the cliff that sends him back the echo of his
actions.
About the author:
Constant Mentzas has complete a bachelor in
film studies and psychology. During his studies, he has worked on many films including Rouge
sur fond blanc, which has received many prizes including best esthetic research from
the university, best student film at the Project Y festival and the prize for the best
experimental film from the student category at the Montreal film festival.
Now, he is pursuing his graduate studies in film studies all
while working as a cinematographer and photographer.
With Aspiration, he signs his
first professional film as director. |
