Early one morning, Antoine wakes up to find himself dissociated from his physical self. Standing over his lifeless body he soon realises he has lost any ability to grab, touch or otherwise act upon objects in the physical world; a world to which he must return before his parents discover the unmoving body of their only child. He soon discovers that he can affect the strange essence of blue objects in his spirit state and sets off to transform this meager understanding of his new reality into a way of returning to his former self.

Jean-François Daigle (AKA "JFD") was born in 1979. At the age of 10 he shot his first film with the help of his brother and a Pixelvision camera. The hope of becoming a camera operator and later a director pushed him to complete his studies at the famed Mel Hoppenheim School of cinema in Montreal, Canada - completing a BFA and a Specialization in Film Production. Since, his career path has allowed him to work in many styles such as ENG, documentary, fiction, experimental cinema and music videos. He has worked in many different formats including HD, super 8mm film and 16mm; winning numerous prizes for his fiction work. "The Blue room" (La Chambre bleue) is his latest short.
