While the world around her is in constant change, Rose-Flore, an elderly woman, patiently awaits death. Detached from life, she clings only to the archaic beliefs, customs and mores of a by-gone era. One day they decide to turn the white chapel in front of her house into a tourist attraction, and a young man arrives to paint it blue. Painful feelings of nostalgia are revived. Rose-Flore will make one final attempt at befriending the painter, and unleash the wrath of heaven through her sacrifice.
