Director's word
The making of ghosts was made
within the framework of a Kinö cabaret. This activity which lasted 4 days, consisted in
making one video a day. Video was thus shot, edited and presented the same day. In the
morning of the shooting, a black ice struck the region of Quebec.
Director's Bio :
Holder of high school diploma in History, Jean-François
Boudreault took his first steps in the world of the video by participating in the
competitions Vidéaste-Recherché-e in 1998. In 2000, he is the director of the program Nombril
on Canal VOX. Nombril is a series of thirteen episodes of thirty minutes on the
cultural life of Quebec. Always continuing to produce personal works, it is now one of the
administrators of video directors' Kinö of Quebec city. Having never received subsidies,
he succeeds all the same to present films in foreign festivals. His objective : directing
films after all.
