A female robin is
sitting in her nest. Under her wings, four little hungry beaks... Over a month's time, the
birdlings and their parents are seen as they go about their daily routine: caring and
protection, feeding, hygiene. The camera discreetly watches them grow, until their first
flight from the nest. A refreshing short film, sustained by a score of music and sound
effects which point out the similarities between animal life and our own life. A moment of
grace which helps us to rediscover the simple, fragile beauty of life itself. |
